Anyway, Doom 64 textures don't fit within Classic Doom textures.

But they do fit with the quake (are that from quake?) ones I've seen. And with the overall atmosphere

Just informing you guys that in the past 2 months a lot of fixes and optimizations has been done, including porting over to the newest OFFICAL release of GZdoom(1.3.17). The fixed up version with the two SP/COOP maps are coming along nicely. Also, MAP03 is in progress too.

Plans for the future(priority order):

-Further fixes and optimizations
-More maps
-More new enemies(may or may not happen)
-More new weapons(alongside the two we already have)
-Random monster spawning at some parts of the maps(increases replayability)
-Some custom true colored marine skins
-PK3 structure(at the very end of the project)

i try to download it, but it always stops part way and the file is corrupted, can you mirror it somewhere else.

Oh my. Well, I would check that out for you, but I'm having some difficulties getting the site to come up at the moment. Did you try registering an account on the Share Space? I think there might only be a file size limit for non-members.

[edit] Now that I'm able to look at it, yes, you'll most certainly need to register, because the file size limits for non-members is "0 files at 0 MB each." For registered users, it's 500 files at 500 MB each.

Ok I am returning with some progress report again. As always, after months of silence, this project is not dead of course :P I've updated my first post with a better changelog style. Now lets get to the point; the past months weren't passed without work:

* Portover to GZdoom 1.4.8
* Took advantage of the PK3 structure, a lot smaller filesize and better manageability
- Tons of unecessary stuff got ripped out, this means codes and some resources too
+ Added flare & smoke objects to make some effects look better
+ Added new high-res font (Exocet)
* Some more ACS and DECORATE code fixes
+ Added ability to skip MAP01 intro (oh yeah). You have to press your use key to skip it. In cooperative games it will be always skipped.
Mapping is a bit slow because the main mapper (my bro) is kind of lazy. I do most of the stuff alone so thats why the development goes like this.
