Action Doom 3 ?

I was wondering if Scuba Steve and hi Action Team were going to make another chapter of the series "Action Doom"... Anyone knows anything?

Yeah, like they did for Action Doom 2. They made an announcement once it was ready; not once they started working on it.



Anyway, if you go the "best" ending for AD2, you've got a teaser about AD3 at the very end, after the credit sequence. If this is accurate, then you'd play the brawler's daughter, now adult, who's been called to investigate the events on Mars and its moons after her father's disappearance.

The Cacowards this year had an interesting note in the sidebar about Action Doom 2, namely one sentence: "DLC coming soon." Now whether that only applies to people who bought the game or not, I'm not sure, but who knows.

Given the Action Doom series' tendency to be based on classic arcade style games, it's time to play Rumor Mill and guess wildly glean from hard evidence what the next game's basis will be. Bets are on: Action Doom 3 will be based on Mega Man. =P
