Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
There are kind of too many monsters that resemble the old vulgar, I think it also needs a skin recolor, but the darker colors look nice
I say, don't give up on it.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Removed blood from head-bite attack, made back tubes visible in frontal-view, completed side-view of walking state. Cowa-freakin'-bunga.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
That's lookin' good, Blade. Lookin' good. Keep it up.
Next we need a good face-hugger.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Thanks, guys. I'm currently working on the frontal claw attack. I might recolor the finished sprite sheet copper and/or black to have multiple types of Aliens. In other words, this current one is based on the original 1979 design.
Facehuggers, I dunno. If that ever will happen, I'm not the one who'll do it. I'm sticking just to regular Aliens and <possibly> a Predator or two.

You'd probably have a much easier job of things by doing lower-res sprites. It'll let you cover up imperfections better while fitting the Doom engine's "style".
For reference and possible editing base, here's the original Bonus Round sprites from Jazz 1.

There's unused Bonus Round sprites in Jazz 2, as well.
This page has all that you seek.

Considering everything, that is actually somewhat sane compared to most of his stuff.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I agree with XutaWoo, but still... it's an Imp with a gun. That's like the worst thing ever.

Well, it's acceptable if it's a player skin no?

Make it green, and you're good.CaptainToenail wrote:Well, it's acceptable if it's a player skin no?

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Indeed I'd rather watch this instead of the stupid Ultimus skin of skulltag.CaptainToenail wrote:Well, it's acceptable if it's a player skin no?
