Hellspawn: Doom, Reversed [WIP]

Hellspawn: Doom, Reversed [WIP]

This mod is one where you play as the monster. You are able to choose the class of monster to play, with some exceptions, and start with the correct monster stats. You look, and act like this monster, and, being the "elite" version of the monster, regenerate health, and the ability to use ranged weapons. Currently, this mod is a couple maps, classes, and an idea. Who hasn't wanted to kill marines, and destroy the good old UAC?

Maps:
Map01 : Introduction (Will Try to make it skippable)
Big01 : Large Monster Level 1 (Cybie, arach, mancubus)
Med01 : Medium Monster Level (Barons, Arch-Vile, revanent)
Sml01 : Small Monster level (Demons, Imps, Cacodemons)

Some Monsters DO NOT have weapons, I know this.
NOT all monsters are in, I also know this.

Of course!

The only ones excluded are the zombies, and the spider mastermind, and the former are too stupid for a human player, and the latter is too big and would break most maps (mainly hell).

Maybe you could play as a Zombie Marine? Pretty much the same abilities as the regular marine, but he's you know...undead.

Anyways, I wouldn't mind helping out or contributing. Perhaps we could use some of the marine weapon sprites I've used as enemies. And maybe later I could even make some more if need be.

Well, I don't mean JUST him, but I mean also have that class for people who'd want to play as a zombie, and not totally suck.

how much have you done on this mod? because i already have a finished mod that sounds just like this but has the spidermastermind. perhaps we can exchange wad info to see how similar the two are.

LOL. I want to comment on the Archvile.

I think his attack is too fast and too powerful. I killed a Cyberdemon in that small area alone while only getting hit with 1 rocket. Yes, I wasn't moving.
Plus, if I use chasecam, it looks his groin area is spewing out fire. :lol: Not only that, the sprites are kind of a bit slow after you use the attack. I think the sprite should somehow be sped up after you stopped firing.
Plus, his death sound and "sniffing" out doors/landing from a couple of feet are still part of Doomguy.

Yeeah. I know it's a bit early.

I know, Feel free to change it if you know how, but at the moment I've got to fix the cyberdemon door smash (When playing as a large character, you destroy things instead of using them).
