i posted a bug report at the gzdoom forums and it seems that the problem wasn't with my wad. looks like there was something wrong with the recent changes in the weapon code. i don't know exactly what was that. i downloaded the latest revision and the program no longer crashes when typing IDFA/IDKFA (or using the Give All command)

Now that the crash problem has been solved, it's time to release the final beta version. I think the mod is very close to completion, so i want some final feedback before releasing the mod on the /idgames archive.

Picking up a clip leads to a crash. Nice weapons though.

Clips work fine for me, don't know. Playing R1452 or so. I hope that's new enough. :)

So far, I like it. I played the earlier versions before, but yeah, I like it. I don't like the kick for the shotgun. When the chaingun has less of a kick then the shotgun, there's something wrong here. :)

Updates:

- Tweaked the recoil for some weapons.

- Removed the fade-in script.

Okay.... I have no idea why the sword can reflect projectiles. Isn't that a bit... powerful for a normal blade?

Also: I hit my "give all" button and ZDoom crashed.

let's just say it's a last resort technique. when you have no weapons and very low health, you can rely on killing monsters with their own projectiles.

After seeing the power level of the rest of the weapons, I retract my comment. Though seeing normal blades reflect fireballs will always seem weird to me.

Dunno what would cause it to crash on give all though. (more specifically give weapons)

One more thing!
You have script warnings in le-guns3.wad:decorate lines 138, 141, 148, 151: unknown class name '1'

- fixed the script warnings regarding the unknown "1" class name. (thanks, DoomRater.)

after a very long time, i have to say that the mod is finished! i uploaded the zipped wad to /idgames.
