Re: [WIP] Virus - Nearly Done!

Final update before release - the co-op testing went badly... which showed me what I was doing wrong there, let me fix it and now it's all good ;)

Now give me a day or two and we'll have a release of Episode 1, complete with Training Map.

There was a time when 4MB was largish, I'm happy those times are over. :)

Opinions, praise, flames and etc. are welcome btw! I'm looking to put this on /idgames sooner or later, and I'd like to know if there's anything particularly broken.

Sorry, no tissues included :P Hopefully I'm not responsible for a broken keyboard or anything. (Sticky keys on, anybody?)

I got to the map that hnsolo77 did before putting down the program. I really have to say that you and the guest mappers have really outdone themselves, this TC is fucking incredible. A certainly rapid departure from Doom convention, that's for sure, but it's a very welcome change.

I loved this, Phobus. Amid the semi-cheesy sprites and otherwise creative architecture, it's a brilliant work of art with an underlying gameplay aspect that few can rival.

That's good to know :)

I'll give it another day and if nobody comes up with any complaints (that I can fix :P) I'll upload to /idgames... so that I can start a train :P

I... DID find one HOM error on mik57's map, where there were two green strips along the walls on an orange background. I don't have an IDMYPOS yet.

Ok then. When you find that I'll go and fix it (shouldn't take long) and then I imagine the overall silence will tell me that the wad is ready to go.

Yeah, the secret area in my map (The one with all the ammo in it, near the end of the map) it seems like a bunch of the textures there got misaligned, one of them got replaced with an orange texture. Its like ya pressed shift+a in there. :|

Also, my teledrones are still [censored word] :P
