If this is anywhere near as good as Doom Raider, I'll probably faint. :P

It's amazing how the mapper uses ZDoom Features in a way that doesn't distract from the doom style. it is as if slopes were there all along. 8-)

I was lucky enough to get a look at this last week. It's a real fight all the way - and all the way is quite a long way. As has been said, the slopes (etc) are very well integrated into the map. It is a great tribute to 10 years of Doom, drawing on Doom looks and style but done in a modern way, employing tricks and features that simply weren't available in '93.

Yet another quality Russell_P map. Image

Man, this map doesn't quit. Every time you finish off one group of monsters, a trap opens releasing more monsters to deal with from every side.

BTW, the beginning of the map becomes 10 times easier if you find the shotgun secret before you open the inner door.

Very nice, I (who the fuck is that?) approve. :) I really enjoyed the little elements from MAP07, MAP02, MAP10 and E1M1. Can't wait to see the sequel!

I don't know why that happened. Prior to release I ran through this map so many times that I lost count and it never crashed once on me. Very odd. Sorry if it caused you any inconvenience.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, its appreciated :)

*breaths in, breaths out, and takes a few more deep breaths....*

Okay, I have just finished the map. It took me half an hour...

Heh, I LOVE maps where the objective is to kill nearly a thousand monsters! Aaaand this is quite a challenge, too. Cool stuff. My rating is 14.5/10. :P

Here's my demo on HMP. Needless to say, I was not impressed.

I assume it's a bug or something, but I was unable to exit the first room.

Hah. After some trying I found out the door is operated by gunfire. But apart from that it was a great map, even though I didn't make it to the end.
