forum feature request

i think this would be useful for well... map announcements... so you dont have to waste space in the general forum but still get your map out there...

Why not just post it in the news forum? (as it's the sort of news that gets posted on DW sometimes, and it's certainly not spam)

becuase then the news on the main page will be cluttered with project updates and screenies, not zdoom news.

I propose we start a Journals thread instead. People can start threads dedicated to their projects (for those poor souls who don't have the patience to put together a page in HTML) and hype up with screenshots.
