Thanks NiGHTMARE and jutegyte!

BTW, I've just posted another update to the wad, with lights, glowing runes in several colors, and more rocks/dirt!

Thanks! Once again I've done exactly that (messing with stuff), and come up with what I think is a pretty decent-looking satyr face, which could be used as either a switch or decoration. It ended up looking somewhat Chinese, but hey, whatever works I guess :P
Spoiler: Satyr switch pix
I created the facial features as a displacement map, and used Photoshop's "Lighting Effects" filter to apply them to the face. It worked out pretty well I think, though it was rather confusing and involved a lot of trial and error.

Yikes! This is bloody amazing! Didn't know you were that keen on texture editing. And we need more from-scratch texture projects. You never know when some nut might come along and try and make a new game from scratch or something. ;P

Cool! ZDoom needed more texture packs. Those that are available at getting kind of old and used up.

Any thoughts to making some Doom 3-style hellish textures? I've looked through several texture packs, but can't find anything that really fits.

Not really, though it was pretty interesting to see how much I could fuck up a map. :P

Here's the real stuff

The archways in that screenshot don't really match up with the rest of the bricks, but otherwise they look rather nice!

Those are some nice textures you've got there, Essel. :) Doom really needs more gothic texture sets.

Yeah; it looks good, through TBH I think those kinds of arches generally work best when used for windows or something that the player isn't able to actually walk through.
