It Sounds and looks interesting. The use of a sky texture instead a ceiling, on the forest make it a lot better than the classic ghoul maps. Seems that the gameplay is going to be an improvement too.
I don't know if this is possible, but there could be monsters that run away from light sources (custom damage on dynamic light things that doesn't hurt but push them away).

But... But you don't get screamer'd if you don't get caught by a ghoul. Sjas doesn't count.
Nobody said you had to find it funny; Personally, I like fighting ghouls because they're a different challenge than "circlestrafe around cyberdemon while firing SSG".
But yeah, the dead babies? That's why I didn't like the Yurei in GF3. "Scary" images I'm fine with, but dead babies are just wrong. And the Creeper doesn't count. (Or Hush, for that matter. )

And before someone says "everyone's entitled to an opinion", which is true, you're not just saying "I don't like it", you're saying "It's lame" and you chopped up a quote from Cutty in a way that entirely missed the point of his post.

I think you should continue with this project, but replaces the ghouls with something else, ghouls are getting very boring IMO.
