Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
@Ghasty Dragon : The hazmat dude is very easy to do if you know wad named Biovite.
If you don't,I really recommend to get it now.
Here it is:http://www.milianmusik.de/doom/?id=downloads
I'm also doing new scientist zombie.
I use the blake stone's scientist dude's sprites and add zombie stains to it.
Here's the first ones: In game, sprites can be translated to white or light gray

Ta da!
I sorted the head a bit, added nicer eyes, sorted the melee animation a tad and added bald and neckstump variants, the shotgun sergents head looks dodgy because I have to make it 80% smaller to fit on the body without it looking like some sort of groteque baby, so I just made my own

Capt. Toenail: OMG,this is what I've been looking forward to.Do you mind if I use the zombie for my wad?I'm working on a sprite rendition of the bony zombie and I can contribute that to the Monster pack when I'm finished.Maybe with a little help I can come up with the Flaming zombe as well.
@Dulle:I have a zombie scientist sprite that I got from the ANHS wad that looks really good.

Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
@Captain Proof : Can I anyway do this? Who knows if Ghastly Dragon will select my zombie to one of three civilian zombies?
Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
I think I'll use Toenail's three sets. The sprites posted by Dulle looked more cartoonish than Doom's normal sprites.
I'll get to work on it as soon as I muster up the motivation to start XD.

Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
I'm going to sketch up the sprite sheet and do all that good shit this weekend so I can scan it Monday and hopefully have it up by tuesday after I touch it up a bit.
@Dulle:I loaded up anhs.wad on DecX and did it that way.I think the monster is called HSS Scientist...though I'm having a hard time with the random sounds for the Frightened scientist from woolie wool's mutiny.wad
@Capt. Toenail:lol,I just noticed that those zombie sprites are edited enemies from wolf3d.Good Idea!Kudos to you...

Agree (but not with happy mood...that zombie that I did wasn't so easy than it looks, but anyway...)Ghastly_dragon wrote:I think I'll use Toenail's three sets. The sprites posted by Dulle looked more cartoonish than Doom's normal sprites.

Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
@Dulle:I can sympathize with you, making sprites is hard.I have alot of good Ideas but I can never get the shading down. But since I'm doing all of this on paper first it should turn out great.
Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
@Ghastly Dragon : Did you download the Biovite?
Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
Yep, the helmet from those soldiers would work excellently as the helmet for the Hazmat Zombie, thanks for suggesting it .

Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2

Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
Ah,I'm downloading it now.Did you take a look at the Bony sketch?
Re: RoE Monster Pack - Doom 3 monsters in Doom 2
@Toenail: Dude, try to make the zombies a bit more D3-ish. For example, make the skin slightly tanner. Also, when you said you were gonna make a neck stump zombie, I thought you were gonna try to make the D3 one, with only his lower jaw attached to the neck... You can also try some zombies with the lower jaw missing...
