Re: Weasel's Huds - One-Stop Hud Shop
Digging this thread out of its grave to introduce a new HUD which I have called "Slant" - slanted bars, numbers, keys, and arms indicators. Fullscreen mode removes the border shadow. GZDoom recommended. There is a bug where the bars will have gaps in the middle of them when using resolutions like 1152x864 - I can't fix that.

The next HUD has been delayed due to an unforeseen issue with Fullscreenoffsets. See this thread for the problem.

I have no idea how the DrawInventoryBar stuff works. It seems to change in every single version.DoomRater wrote:Holy balls that slanted HUD is crazy. Though tere is something I wanna ask...

Re: Weasel's Huds - One-Stop Hud Shop
hey there, out of curiose do you allow if I could use parts of that HUD for a own HUD I was working on for AEoD Mod?wildweasel wrote:Digging this thread out of its grave to introduce a new HUD which I have called "Slant" - slanted bars, numbers, keys, and arms indicators. Also I like that helmed HUD on the earlier pages. Its a nice alternative to the helmed hud I came up with.
Here some screenshots of huds I desinged for HUD. (not all got ingame, and all are low res 320*200, that why I like to remake them to at last soemthing like 800*600, and for that I like how you made your Bars there, great graphic design)
Screenshots inside the spoiler
Spoiler:computer!)
Re: Weasel's Huds - One-Stop Hud Shop
This topic has frightened me away from making a HUD for my mod.

NOW i have tested all these huds and i have to say they are.... very good! The hud i used most yesterday was the Lizard HUD coz it did fit perfect on the old mod Doom 3: mr Smiley head's safari. Why? Because it uses MSpaint grapfics, that's why.

Re: Weasel's Huds - One-Stop Hud Shop
The Lizard HUD was actually intended for Lizardcommando's neat weapon mod, The Exterminator. I recommend having a look at it, because it too uses MS Paint graphics to great effect.doomhunter_175 wrote:NOW i have tested all these huds and i have to say they are.... very good!
