The sprite comic can be read [HERE], although it's not done.
Spoiler: For those who don't feel like readingThe project is to be loosely based on the comic, plot-driven based on the player's actions (or lack there-of in a few cases). This means that the game could end in a totally different way the comic will (which, like the game, isn't even close to done).
I have finally sent the project over to here, where I have been asking many of my ACS- and DECORATE-related questions. Quite honestly I am expecting mixed to rather negative comments strictly for its subject material than anything, hence my reluctance to post anything. Of course, I'm desperate now...
Shortened to TSAT, this mod is actually designed to be Stand-Alone, as the project was to cater to those who can't get a hand on a copy of Doom (though those who own it can still enjoy it of course). This means I would have to replace a lot of the textures, create new enemies, compose music, etc. Yeah, not easy. I have been using a lot of resources from other projects, not the least of which has been FreeDoom. Music I have been pulling from some of my favorite titles such as Ace Combat 5, Command and Conquer, and MechWarrior -- of course, where appropriate, however of course I would like original compilations.
However, with a plan, with a story to work off of, I know that one day I can get this thing done.
I have better than screenshots to show for this. One gameplay trailer is very old and at least shows that I wanted to do a game on it. MAP01: [HERE]. A lot of the features have been updated since then, including the status bar getting a complete facelift. MAP02: [HERE].
