On the silent sector thing, Graf has confirmed that it is caused by a sector silencer in the split part of the sector where some teleporting monsters are stored.

On the nodes, I've built them for my own copy (I did it a few times just to get an average build time) and it takes about 3.1 seconds or more each time. Now, I know that's hardly significant, unless you are a mayfly, but having Zdoom doing something silently in the background for an additional ~3 seconds behind the title screen at map startup is, to me, more annoying and worrying than watching the zbsp counter going up to 100% once and then the map loading a bit quicker in Zdoom from that point on (the map still takes a little while to load though). Whatever, my copy is "fixed" ;)

I found this map to be very enjoyable :) . It certainly has that "classic" feel to it, and I like that.

My only gripe is that when I got to Chapter 3 and part of 4(either between chapter 3 and 4 or chapter 2 and 3), I had no ammo to do anything. I was stuck using the chainsaw a lot. Maybe there was a secret, or something, somewhere? Well if there was, please ignore this part of my post :P .

@Enjay: Well... I'll leave the nodes, because I imagine most people won't play it repeatedly or anything, and at least that way the file is marginally smaller. Glad to see I've not got a mapping error to fix at least

@Dreadopp: Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 are intended to be played with limited ammo which will run out (usually just before the berserk in Chapter 3), though there is a secret box of shells in Chapter 4, hidden in plain sight.

Heh, well I was running around looking for ammo wherever possible, all the while being chased by lots of guys. I might have found the secret if I slowed down and seriously looked, but I was running from guys and moving forward with the story. I was able to find ammo later on, but only after dying a few times. Oh well, guess you should not worry about that then. It was still a very good map :) .

Right, seems that there are no more bugs or anything... so on with the /idgames release. Let some trolls have a go at it or whatever :P
