Well, with a little work, you can see what that'd be like yourself.

On another note, is the Wicked going to use +FLOATBOB or some variant thereof? I recently added it to the Cacodemon on a whim, and I think it greatly increases how cool they look. I dunno how it'd look with the Wicked, but it'd be worth a shot, I think.

Or to do concept art for new monsters in Doom 4 :D (They are hiring, actually). Unfortunately, while it'd be good to get someone from the ZDoom community on the inside, Eriance likely wouldn't be able to tell us anything without getting fired, lol.

@Onslaught Six: There aren't a whole lot of monsters that work well with +FloatBob. The Wicked doesn't look like the type of monster that would bob up and down like that.

@Onslaught Six: No, i wont be adding floatbob to the Wicked. It wont fit his anatomy or the way he moves. I've tested floatbob the Nightshade, which is a nother vertical monster (as opposed t a cacodemon this is as wide as it's tall, more or less) and came out really wierd in GL mode because GZdoom wont let the sprite "go into" the floor (so it would just stop).

Keep in mind that download link is a completely outdated version. It WONT have any of the new monsters or weapons i've recently posted.

Oh and what happened to "I'm leaving Zdoom forums FOREVER, and will uninstall Zdoom from my computer! It's a cruel thing to make a little child cry! blah blah blah..."? :D

Oh. Huh. The other guy's right, too, it would probably look crappy--I just thought it looked great on the Caco because of its general round shape. And I hadn't taken GZDoom into account because I tend to use Regular ZDoom, so.

Btw Eriance how far you in level terms? Or are you just concentrating on making the community go in awe over your gorgeous sprites, because it certainly seems like the latter ;)

@Doomshadow: Same as the general power_up command "Powerup" in console. Some of the Ep3 weapons dont have powered up modes in the current released beta.

@Cutmanmike: Progress on the levels on nil. I haven't even begun to actually map anything for Ep3, though I have sketched out some drawings of how I want it to look in general on paper with landscape drawings. Hopeful i'll be able to replicate them via Doom. O_o I really cant map until the weapons and monsters are done (atleast the non-boss ones).

Ah, don't worry bout it. Me and my friend were talking about it, he doesn't come here but he wants me to "keep him posted" about this because I think it's his favourite wad so far and it's by far the best coop wad we've played y'see. Ahh good memories of the longest winding corridor in the history of doom... ;)

umm i'm not sure. For some reason DE is crashing GZDoom right now so I can't take a gander, but it was in episode 2 for sure and was one of the later levels (might even be the one with the boss)

There is a huge-ass spiral hallway in the last level of episode 2. A lot of sentinels (those dark iron liches) inside. I suppose that's what you're talking about?
