is there a way to make Chex Quest an IWAD for zdoom?

at the item level so you can summon a POWERSPORK into Doom

i can see it now:

Chex Quest is just the DOOM IWAD with different graphics, sounds, and text. The Powerspork is actually a chainsaw. My suggestion is to use the Gauntlets from Heretic as your Spork.

i know about chex quest being the doom wad (final doom actually the one with ep 4)but i dont want it replacing the doom chainsaw...


yes the gauntlets are nice but chewing up an imp with a sport is great comic relief

But the point is, the spork IS the chainsaw. So what your request essentially is, is how can I add a chainsaw to Zdoom so that I can summon it and have 2 chain saws.

Answer, you can't. The suggestion to use the spork sprites to replace the Heretic gauntlets, and summon them is a good one.
