Sector Special "Floor/Ceiling Horizon"

Post by Amuscaria »

Like the line-special 9, but for floors and ceilings. Is this possible? Atleast for GZdoom? O_o

That'd look really trippy. Infinitely tall walls...

Horizons by their very nature are linedef based. This makes no sense.

Typo. 'p' sits right next to 'o'.

It would say [Can't be Done] rather than [Not Possible].

War Games in a Maze looked just like that.

This is interesting, because a long, long time ago, I used to get this very same effect because of a nodebuilder error where it wouldn't build a specific portion of my map entirely, so when you looked into one room from another room, you would get these two linedefs extending out into infinity, and you couldn't see a floor or ceiling at all.

I wish I had a screenshot of it, or even the map in question. It was a really cool effect at the time, even for an error.

Bingo. However I have seen nodebuilders.... "miss", too. None of them are perfect.
