GZDoom 1.0.24 (not 1.0.22!) is the only port that supports this mod for now. ZDoom doesn't support 3D floors, which are necessary to play the game. (There are things like long bridges over insta-kill lava, so you'll get stuck pretty early if you play it with ZDoom.) Skulltag's latest internal builds can handle 3D floors, but they lack support for custom states, so the DECORATE actors don't work. Let's not even talk about ZDaemon...

So, GZDoom is the one and only port that is currently able to run TUTNT.pk3. Skulltag should join it on this lofty perch, but probably not before beta 6 (Torr said that custom states are unlikely to make it to beta 5).

Nice surprise release... :?

As it goes for the comets:
I sent you a newer version, Torm, that was probably an act of forgetting something again P: And I would have updated them again if you wouldn't be so surprising again D:

Also, lost souls don't give off light thanks to their new actors :?

And I wanted to send out the report today - Thanks to a cold I had last week I couldn't look at some things properly :?

@Keks - I did get the new comets but I actually liked the old ones better, that's why nothing has changed here. But indeed, the Lost Soul has no dynamic lights, thats true. What do I have to add to the GLDEFS to make that work?

By the way, I had to release it yesterday as I am now out for a while due to several things in real life and I only would have been able to release it in oktober then.

Change the line in the first GLDefs lump from "Object LostSoul" to "Object LostSoulSmoke", this should make it work properly then P:

Also, you could have told me that comet thingy *_*

Somebody already knows this wad pretty well, so he'll just once again say that it was awesome, and highly recommends it to all the nublets that haven't already got it :P

Thx Phob ;)

Important Note : Hotfix v1.01
I am just uploading v1.01 of Ultimate Torment & Torture due to a bug in the final map that made UTNT impossible to beat without cheating. Beyond several other little glitches and bugs have been removed so just download the latest version in about 25 minutes from now, I am just uploading the file as I am writing this ;)

Some very nice stuff here. I'm playing Lost Episode for now. Found the Wolfenstein secret, quite kickass. (Though I'd advise looking at how AFADoomer did to get the various nazis to not hurt each others in his Wolf3D TC. It felt weird to see the Wolf3D enemies kill each others in friendly fire.)

Nitpicks:
Spoiler:
Also: Anybody got a compiled version of GZDoom where this bug is fixed? I don't feel like installing MS Visual Studio, the required libraries and all that on the computer I have to use for now...

Isn't worth the effort as it is still only a little secret :P Beyond, second bug fixed in v1.01

Also, turning off the weather effects in TNT04B ("Behind the Dark Portal") also turns off the comets which should actually hit you ;) Speedrunners might hate you for fixing that later then XD

[Edit]
Also, our good old "Plasma Elemental" lacks the plasma FX. It would feel out of place if every single plasma thing there has effects but not the plasma elemental plasma ;)

Yes, added the "NET" script addition to make it work in multiplayer online ;)

@Keks - That's true indeed, although the plasma elemental only appears in TNT04B... I will think about that.

@Jalla - Thx for the mirror :)

I thought you HAD to use GZDoom due to 3d floors?
yeah thats what I thought, well then how do you set up co op? there is only an option for single player in the menu. I have never had any friends have the desire to play through a doom map pack till this one so I have never bothered to figure out how to setup co op. I noticed the option for team play in the gameplay options but this doesn't seem to do anything.

Anyways, working my way through episode 2 now, was the HOM glitch fixed with the bugfix update? doesn't effect the ability to finish the map but should be easy to fix, just have to add a texture to the wall were the elevator goes down.

Break out a bottle of champaign Torm, you deserve it! This wad kicks ass!!
