I'm sick of realistic gunfighting. Pretty much every game I've seen advertised in the past few years has realistic guns in it. Like that's so hard to implement, or something. And it's always the same boring green and grey outifts. Bah, I think back to the good old days when a nameless guy wearing blue or red pants could carry a weapon which fired out endless streams of orange spheres, call it a machine gun, and have no one complain. You know what happened when he got shot? Yesh, sure, he became dead, but you know what, he came right back to life in the same place! Astounding. I'm impressed.

I wonder what he's up to now...
Did you play the map? I looked at your link, but went no further with it. I haven't seen any good maps created by 5 or 6 year olds, and I've seen a few. (I supposed you could say that they were good looking for their age, though. :) )

Sorry for jumping down your back, but by your responce, I thought you were arguing with me.

Probably should have mentioned...

Post by DrewbieDoobie007 »

The whole under 18 thing wasn't a hark by me or anything, just a point of why the whole impse thing shouldnt be blocked NAZI style, y'know.

I probably should have mentioned that I am 17 and have played doom since my dad brought it home for me right when it came out. I guess I turned out alright, I certainly dont have fantasies of shooting up my humble high school!

I was just pointing out a few small thoughts that I had, thats all...

Sorry for any misunderstandings.

--Just adding, Zell kicks ass, for a 13 year old, your alright!
--Also, if you couldnt tell, I really dont like Doomworld, Its not that im blocked over there, I dont think I've even posted at those forums! I just dont like the site too much at all, and the forum moderators are always on a Power Trip...

Yeah, I see your point about the Nazi moderation stuff. Moderators shouldn't be THAT harsh! For an example of Nazi moderation, visit New Doom.

lol no problem, hehe i was just adding my views too =D

its just tho rare few who have something triggered in their head when they kill something, in a game or otherwise. Those are the ones who the parents need to wacth more, track their activities more. I would never dream of hurting anyone with a gun unless it was war. thats the only approiate(hardly) time to shoot, but, then again, with out guns, we woudnt have peace. But, as i have siad, those rare few who play these games have a mental trigger that drives them to violence. dont forget about bullies, either. They dont help, by encouraging taking out rage on the weak or smart =p

Good point. It's not the games that drive the people Insane, it's the people who drive the people insane!

Avatars are already in (80x80 and 6KB limit). Ain't a signature length of 1 long enough?

It's not even a length of 1. I tried putting an H in there and it still doesn't show up.

I personally dislike signatures and would rather have them kept off. If you must have some kind of tag line to describe yourself, use the Custom Title field to have it appear above your avatar. Signatures just get in the way and encourage (sometimes multiple) big-ass banners showing up at the bottom of every post. It's annoying and unnecessary.

Just my $0.02.

[EDIT]How would you like this thread showing up here one day? Careful what you wish for...[/EDIT]

I agree, Hotwax.

Multiple members who use a long sig and/or use a banner bigger than 10kb in their sig at a forum can cause slow loading time for some members with a different connection speed, whether it's with a 56k modem or whatnot.
