keypad demo

Post by Isle »

as seen in that wip thread. go up to the computer on the wall and hit use. fire presses numbers and use exits. feel free to try to use it in your own wads.

That's very cool. With my inverted mouse, the up/down is a bit screwed but yes, it works very well.

Nice work, although it seems to move left and right a bit too fast for my liking. I might just use this :)

This is cool as hell. With a bit more polished graphics this can be really useful.

This is really neat! With some heavy modification, one could make a Diablo style inventory.

A Diablo-style inventory seems a tad ambitious, but I suppose it is possible. The keypads are very nifty, though - nice work!

yum, math!

Cleaver turning mouse look into a cursor. Diablo style inventory (or any gui driven inventory) would be a nice extension. However setting up the math for the hotspots to click on is a headache and a half for the rest of us who are a little out of sync with ACS coordinate math.

Wait a sec... Anyone thinking System Shock 2 interface?

That would be pretty badass actually.
