@solarsnowfall Are there going to be other carts that race against you?

I'd say it'd be more multiplayer focused but if he gets AI in, that will be amazing.

I'm not even going to start thinking about that until I get multiplayer working perfectly.

@solarsnowfall: Sorry to sound like a jackass, but what is the 1 for? I'm assuming it is the # of laps.

Great picture, btw.

Bottom right? It's your current position in the race. If your position changes, like in Mario Kart, the number changes to the new position and is displayed at four times the size for a split second, then shrinks back down again.

Doom Kart? Nintendo will probably sue you.

Anyways looks awesome. I can't imagine the ACS work involved(I am still perfecting basic if/when statements :D).

I highly doubt they'll ever know I even existed, much less this project.

@solarsnowfall What exactly is that health vial with the x4 after it? I'm guessing its how many times you can use a turbo boost.

I would think it's lives or something of that manner, where you loose a life every time you get a sufficiently poor place in the race. (Since it is a health vial)

It's possible, although I've never played a game where you raced and lost lives if you did poorly. Actually, that might be the ammo for a weapon you can use to help you win the race.
