[r420M] Windowed ZDoom appearing off screen

Post by Siggi »

I have ZDoom set to run in a 1024x768 window. When I start it it seems to appear with the upper left corner of the window in the center of the screen allowing the rest of the ZDoom window to go offscreen. :?

Edit: actually, the new startup screen appears, then the ZDoom window appears by basically resizing it from the upper left corner. If that makes sense.

That's what you get for using in-development code. :) I'll get to it eventually.

A work around for this bug is to create a shortcut on the desktop, right click on it, click properties and set Window Style to maximized.

I'm afraid that only applies to DOS applications.

What do you mean? It works for GZDoom, and you can set any applications window style from a shortcut, for windows apps and dos apps
