Wad statistics program?

Post by Milian »

Hi!

I've had a break from my ZDoom project and want to finish it now. However, I think, I've lost track about the thing placement which is already partly done.

Does anybody know of a tool which can show me how many things (imps, shells, stimpacks, also decorate monsters) the map shows on each skill level?

With Doombuilder, I can set a thing filter, but when I then search for a thing type, it counts all things, so the filter is ignored. :-(

DeePsea can do just that. :( Shame how the editor itself (apparently) sucks.

Is the source for DeePsea available anywhere? Maybe someone could do a little doctoring...

Considering DeepSea isn't free, I highly doubt the source for it is available :P

It's not? O_O

Who would pay to map for Doom? And with such a crappy editor?

Enjay. ;)

That being said I don't think any Doom editor is worth money.

What's been one of the few things you and Graf have been consistantly agreeing on over the last few years? :P

Well, everybody to his/her own.
I miss ZETH. But since it does not have full support for ZDoom/GZDoom I opted for Deepsea, after trying Doombuilder. I think it was money well spent.

But back to the subject of this thread. Jim Flynn had made several useful little programs, but all for DOS/Win95. Maybe you can make use of them.
