Changing the sound of lifts, doors, other moving things.

Post by Amuscaria »

I was wondering, cna i change the what sound a particular lift uses without changing the sound of the other ones? This goes for doors crushing ceiglings as well. What I mean is, say I have 2 doors that uses the same line action, but i want one to play a particular sound while not changing the other. Is this possible? IN EDGE, you could make your own line def, but as far as i know, Zdoom cant do that.

Check out details of the sndseq lump in the Wiki. Basically, define a sound sequence that you want to give to your door, then place the corresponding sound sequence thing in your door sector using your map editor.
