ZBloodpak and the Weapons Resource Wad

Post by Pure Hellspawn »

How do I make it so that all the weapons in the weapons resource wad are playable in ZBloodpak (which has some of the weapons, but not all of them)?

Do the authors of ZBloodpak even credit their sources? It looks like they just slapped a bunch of Monster Resource Wad critters in there with a bunch of decorate weapons (at least, from the screenshots - I didn't bother downloading it).

Drag both files onto the zdoom executable and cheat for the guns.

[protoss dragoon] i have returned.[/protoss dragoon]

that won't help. Zbloodpak has some of the weapons in it and both will cause that decorate error.
random example {not using anything from wrw}
Zbloodpak has monster OMGZWTF defined.
WRW has monster OMGZWTF defined.
ERROR
OMGZWTF already defined.

*sigh*
sadly, while your advice was good for some cases, it won't work for all.

For me it works fine and beyond: It sucks, but the MRW and the WRP are credited in the CREDITS lump!

Lol bandwagon. :?

The wad is okay. The ZDoom specific stuff does seem unnecessary but it doesn't break the wad. Gameplay does get kind of boring sometimes but then again the wad is similar to Eternal in other aspects as well.

After the first 5 maps I'd say it's an okay effort with minor flaws. Edit: Heh. Map06 was excellent :).
