Community megawad?
Topic.
Only rule is that it's gotta run on official ZDoom.
Thoughts?

Well, how would we organise it and what would submissions be like?
Are we going to have anybody who wants to submit one, and only one level with as many graphics and stuff as they like, and just clean it all up at the end, or are we going ot make it a story based thing with people signing up for specific roles?
We could do with some guidelines, or it's just two words from what I'm seeing.

Fine by me. I figure we have two demonic factions at war, with their respective leaders. The player can, for demonic powers, throw in with one side or the other, or he can tread the path of virtue and humanity, and carry bigger guns. Might make for some cool mapping, actually, with "Battlefield" maps and maps that belong to one side or the other. If even that seems too involved, we can just spiff up the old-fashioned "Man, with gun, seeks Satan" but that would be selling the community short, IMHO.
Well we do have a resident story writers section, so we can sort out something simple if need be
Player choices eh?
Simple version of that (inspired by Soul Calibur 3) get to a level which is connected to 2 levels by a hub, make a coice and from there, the story line progresses differently to how it would. Maybe one powercube, but two optional slots, or something?
We could set out a rough storyline, set up map ideas for the overall story it's non-linear areas. Then lay out the parameters for each level (I'm thinking not too specific, like just level name and theme, get to work) and get to recruiting. Advertise it as a chance to make a name for yourself, make a part of the big wad, and there we are. Custom monsters and decorations (no weapons past DeHackEd/DEHSUPP if we're keeping it official) as the mapper sees fit and voila!
Of course we could just do something like Congestion 1024 did, and just lay out an idea for a map, and get as many people as willing to make a map that fits the description (Maybe a specific map theme or some sort of restraint on the mapper, like perhaps 'bigger than x' instead of the opposite?).
We have many options...
