Stupid question: Are you setting your scripts up properly? Post up a sample of one of the scripts that won't start
EDIT: Even with this as a script:
I still got no unkown script errors.
EDIT: Even with this as a script:
Code: Select all
// #include "zcommon.acs"
script 1 OPEN {
// Commented lines like this aren't compiled.
}Wait a tic... isn't "P_STARTSCRIPT: UNKNOWN SCRIPT #" the error you get when you are trying to execute a script that doesn't exist, i.e.:
Code: Select all
#include "zcommon.acs"
script 1 (void)
{
print(s:"Here it comes...");
delay(35*3);
ACS_Execute(34, 0, 0, 0, 0);
}
script 2 (void)
{
//does stuff that script 34 is supposed to do
}you can laugh if you wantace wrote:HEH. (sorry I just had to)
But yeh, this sort of thing has happened before. At first I didn't know that every line had to end with a semicolon, or that scripts had to be activated by linedefs or by other scripts, etc.
i mean how can something so simple as pressing compile or adding a semicollen
start this whole thread.I should be laughing at myself
im so lonely
