I had MDK bound to middle mouse until I needed a button for altfire so I bound MDK to "end" (I use the arrows to move) and bound altfire to middle mouse.

I use Left mouse to fire, Middle for MDK, Right for alt.

It's messing up the forum spacing. Just change it to something short sweet and to the point.

Or, if you don't know what to change it to, follow Jalla's example -- leave it blank.

Something that is not garbage text and doesn't break the spacing.

Agent ME wrote:Is it just me or is MDK a very messed up version of BTK (Bind Torture Kill) the name some serial killer would leave (who was finally caught like a year or a few ago right)? :?
Nah, MDK's been around since the 1.22 days, long before anybody caught BTK and after most people forgot about him the first time around. It would be nice to know what it really means, though.

EDIT: I live about 90 miles from Wichita, Kansas, where this all happened.
Edit 2: DAMNIT!!! Why didn't I look to see if there was another page?

Haha, I have a weirdassedly-awesome system of MDKing for me. I have a key ('Z'), that when pressed, toggles "MDK Mode" on and off. When on, the left mouse button fires an automatic MDK (yes... automatic as in rapid-fire) instead of shooting the weapon. Re-pressing 'Z' will turn things back to normal. I really need to upload that system one of these days... :P

it probably involves aliases and whatnot which is really cool in itself.

I'd rather just have a single button that does the autofiring.

alias slayer slayerON
alias slayerON "mdk;wait 5;slayer"
alias slayerOFF ""
alias +slayer "alias slayer slayerON; slayer"
alias -slayer "alias slayer slayerOFF"

Apothem: Try out my aliases and bind +slayer to a button. You'll get an idea what Xaser's system looked like.

the one thing I was never too familiar with was zdoom's command scripting. I will take a look tho.
