Tactical Pocket Nuke (universal addon mod for Doom II)

Post by Spaceman333 »

I love the Pocket Nuke item from ELFLE's and 3saster's Boom Power Reborn mod, but I wanted it to be standalone so I made this.

Basically its a rare inventory item you can find amongst monsters, carry it around and then toss it. 10 second countdown and KABOOM, big explosion to blow up a group or a boss.

Granted its a pretty low-yield nuke; you can avoid the blast by standing about 20 meters away.

Get it here:
https://reactorcore.itch.io/tactical-po ... -doom2-mod

There are three version you can load:
* Tactical Pocket Nuke as Kill Loot 1 in 255.pk3
- Very rare loot drop from monsters - one in every 255 monsters randomly on average.

* Tactical Pocket Nuke as Kill Loot 1 in 128.pk3
- Rare loot drop from monsters - one in every 128 monsters randomly on average.

* Tactical Pocket Nuke at Level Scatter.pk3
- At the start of the level, the mod will calculate the amount of monsters on the level and drop an average of 0-2 nuke items per every 100 monsters on the level, placed near a randomly selected monsters somewhere in the level. This one's more like a treasure hunt mode. If you're playing Brutal Doom, use this version because the other two will spawn way more nuke items than intended.

All 3 versions work with literally any weapon or monster mod, but you should only use *one* of those above pk3 files at any given time.
