Not trouble at all man, keep having fun with it!Sighbernot wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 6:20 pm Okey dokey, sorry for the trouble! Your mod is still my favorite by far, and I’ll keep playing it for sure.

Well, if I figure out a possible way to implement it the way you've described, maybe I can consider changing it someday...devlman127 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 11:08 am I wish that the Multi-Elemental Cannon had a simple selection wheel on right click to make it easier to change elements in the middle of a firefight than cycling through one by one. I thing that would make it a lot more viable, letting you utilize the element system to it's fullest.

It's true, how time flies away, hehe! And the years that are remaining, of course...

Hope you keep enjoying it and having lots of fun!

Sorry for coming off as inconsiderate of the work and effort that you have already done in making this mod. I am having a ton of fun with it and the MEC is just a minor gripe compared to the whole.Hexereticdoom wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 2:40 pm

Still, if you are serious about finding out implementing something like it, the Project Brutality mod has that selection wheel for changing aspects of a weapon. Specifically, it also has a weapon centered around switching elements in the Super Grenade Launcher. Perhaps you could look at the source code or ask the developers on the discord?
Again, this is a great mod that I've played hours of and I understand if you don't think this would be the effort of implementing.

Re: HXRTC Project Golden Edition Plus R18 (Update 2 May 2025)
Hello there Doom mates, announcing that Revision 18 is up and ready!
This update, as has been usual for some time now, adds some small new features and improvements to the game for your delight and enjoyment. And as you might expect, you don't need to ask what they are, since each and every one of the details are listed in the changelog below...
So enough of the preambles, and just keep reading:
OK, for the most part, that was all for now! Get your fresh download at first post, and hope you keep enjoying a lot with the H-Project mod!
This way, and as you suggest, I will take a look at PB's mod to see if it would be possible to somehow port that weapon mode selection improvement to the HXRTC mod, although I can't estimate right now how long it would take and if it would finally be permanently integrated into the mod someday, it will all depend on the complexity of the original code (and also of course, on my skills)...
So then, I'll keep it in mind for a future update... Thanks for playing the mod and keep having fun with it!

So enough of the preambles, and just keep reading:
- - From now on, you will have available a new toy with which you can increase your generous arsenal, and perhaps it might sound familiar to some of you: the big and powerful Nunn X-19! An advanced double-barreled assault rifle coming from its origins in the Earth's black market for some decades ago, as revolutionary as it is deadly... According to our reports, it is able to shoot near 800 rounds per minute with its bursts of special impact bullets, and it is also equipped with a fearsome high-precision missile launcher, whose damage it causes is quite devastating. In essence, it is a truly versatile weapon since it is suitable for any type of range, whether short, medium or long, although perhaps one of its notable defects may be its rapid ammunition consumption. (Talking about ammunition, this is the second weapon added to the mod that uses different types of ammunition for its two firing modes, using NATO Bullets for its primary shots, and Rockets for its secondary shots). You might also need a bit of luck to find this great little toy lying around on a level map, although it will also be possible to borrow it from an enemy or, failing that, buy it from a Trade Shop Droid... Anyway, good luck!
- Headquarters reports that some new enemy zombies have joined the other monsters in their evil cause. It wasn't all going to be good news, was it? But look it on the bright side, at least they might serve as fodder for your weapons (or fists)... There it is a brief description from them:
- - Berserker: a fat, muscular guy who is quite fast for his size. He doesn't have any firearms, but he likes to dispatch his opponents with powerful punches. Do you remember Brutus from the Popeye cartoons? Well, this rude and unpleasant dude bears a striking resemblance to him... So, In the absence of spinach cans, you'll have to fight him with the steel of your fists, or the lead of your cannons...
- Submachine Gunny: another UAC lab rat who has fallen into the hands of the demons, and as her name suggests, this dangerous girl likes to play mainly with semi-automatic weapons, and even more aim and shoot at the heads of the marines who oppose her wishes... So don't try to flirt with her or she'll break up with you before you know it!
- Stoneheart Soldier: the third zombie on the list has a rather peculiar name as you can see, although what should worry you most about him is that he owns a Nunn X-19 and can also use that weapon's abilities against you, which makes him the most dangerous of the three... So then, avoid at all costs his bursts of fire, and especially his missiles!
- Updated the graphics of the player's arms when using Hand Grenades: they no longer appear cut off on the sides, making them a bit more friendly to widescreen displays.
- Slightly improved the reload time of the Y-Mauser by removing a couple of delaying frames.
- Enhanced the custom's mouse cursor colour of the mod (golden Lost Soul pointer). It looked a little pale previously, so I gave it a little extra touch of hue saturation...
- Updated the HUD for compatibility with the new Nunn X-19 weapon.
- Some minor bugfixes and optimizations. - - Berserker: a fat, muscular guy who is quite fast for his size. He doesn't have any firearms, but he likes to dispatch his opponents with powerful punches. I didn't think you were inconsiderate at all, man. In fact, I apologize if my words may have sounded a little harsh, but nothing could be further from my intention. Feedback, criticism and suggestions to the mod are always welcome...devlman127 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 2:45 pm Sorry for coming off as inconsiderate of the work and effort that you have already done in making this mod.
