-Somewhere in Congo, in a ramshackle refuge of arms dealers.
-Secret Soviet base in the Indian Ocean; murky and surrounded by sea, storm outside, better to stay inside!
-A hotel in the Maghreb, that's ben overrun by Reds; they've already dumped out all the menus and replaced them with ration cards - this is intolerable!
-A secret NATO war factory in Canada, Base Amarok. What could the NATO scientists possibly work on there?

Development update 18.10.2023
Reds Over World is at it's very final stretch. All that is left to make are three maps - the Black Dolphin Prison, Moscow and a Subarctic Soviet base. Once all three of these levels are finished, it's time to personally beta-test them all and potentially fix bugs and re-work all of them, and then it's off to private betatesting by other people.
Below are some screenshs of the Black Dolphin level:

Oh YEAHhHHH …, this is gonna be Awesome-sauce , i just know it, Congrats Wojt the doomed and thanks for all your hard work, skill and abilities … looks amazing so far… going by the screenshots you’ve posted so far… challenging ? Yeah, I’m sure it will be… hard?!??! Probably?? Fun?? definitely… looking forward to its eventual release …

In terms of difficulty, I am making sure the game will be fair, but also challenging, just like the shooters of my childhood it's based on, like Far Cry 1. It won't include any handholding or that sort of stuff, because I know people don't like it. The one thing I feel like people might complain about is the fact that as of now, the mod doesn't show how much ammo you have until you have to reload, but honestly, I like it that way, feels more realistic - in real life soldiers can't really tell how much ammo they have left in a clip before they have to reload. As im betatesting the game, this gives the game more dynamism, f.e. encouraging the player to switch from one assault rifle to another, to make sure he has enough ammo.

Once the mod is finished i'll make a notice here that im looking for beta-testers, then we'll do the beta-testing on Discord, because it is a chat platform I am familiar with the most. The work on the final level has begun. It takes place in the most secretive of all Soviet compounds, located inside of a Kamchatka volcano. This base was build during the 50's under strict orders of Stalin himself - the USSR is keeping it from exploding utilizing a massive stabilizer; the base is unknown to anyone except the Red Army divisions that protect it, and the dozens of engineers and scientists from all over the Eastern Bloc that work inside. It makes you wonder - what exactly are they keeping there?

Congratulations on your amazing work and great Progress, WojtTheDoomer2k.... again, this looks awesome and I'm sure it'll be a heck of a challenge (and loads of fun, but hard) for anyone who wants to try to play it, when it does come out/is released.... I guess we'll just have to be patient until then, screen shots to keep us going until then......

Ha, ha, seems like i'll have to make the first split map in history of my Doom modding; the last Soviet base is turning out so huge, and i've got so much planned to put in it, that i'll have to split it from just one map named E6M4 to E6M4A and E6M4B, for both preformance and practical reasons. The first part of the map will feature the player traversing the surface of the base, and it's first level, while the second map will contain the rest of the complex, including the finall boss fight, which will be huge.

I am absolutely ecstatic to announce that, after 3 years of development (21 November 2020-9 December 2023) Reds Over World is finished.
Now all that needs to be done is a private playtest by myself, to check all maps for bugs, unfinished/unused asset and areas.
And after that, a closed betatest by 3-4 other people, to see if there are any bugs that I might not encounter, but other people might.
I am honestly shocked to see it just ... done after three years. For comparison, MOTI (heh, all three versions of it) were in development for just half-a-year or even less. This was my biggest DOOM project in history; and I can't wait to share it with everyone once all beta-testing is done!

Beta-testing of the first chapter is finished, now off to betatest the rest; I can't wait to share this mod with people after three years of development, better start spreading the word on any DOOM servers, etc. that the mod is coming early 2024! Playing through all these levels i've ben doing in 2021 and 2022 is like dusting through old memories...I must admit I even teared up once.
To think this started just as an enemy pack made as a in-joke...
