Whoo hoo, necromancy ahoy!

For some reason I discovered Vanilla Essence only this week and loved it when I tried it.

However, there is one issue with it. I want to keep my GZDoom with dynamic lights and bloom and all bells and whistles on in the normal config, and be able to switch to Vanilla Essence when I want to.

The thing is, when Vanilla Essence is loaded, it breaks the dynamic lights on the rockets. In my observation, all other weapon dynamic light sources work fine, but the rockets still have no dyn light when you toggle VE off.

Is there a solution or fix for this? Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, figured it out! Didn't expect the mod to replace the rocket actor. Added the rocket light definitions to the mod's GLDEFS and now it works as expected - no rocket dyn light with VE on, and rocket lights with it off.

Support for gzdoom 4.13's new mbf21 and mbf21 strict options for the compatibility mode and proper hud scaling for using 4k:

So to start, thank you for this mod! It really makes playing more vanilla focused mods with "authentic" visuals easy with just a click. But with the recent update to gzdoom with 4.13 it adds mbf21 and mbf21 strict options so it would be appreciated to add the options to the compatibility modes to maintain perfect functionality. And while I am hear I would like to note how when using 4K the status bar does not scale correctly to the size Doom is normally and I have to go in and turn off an option to get it to set right. Lastly I have one feature request of someway being able to set "use" to the spacebar when activating the mod. That way you can have the space ar be jump for more complex gzdoom mods that use it but then be able to turn on your great mod for playing standard doom.
