Best reimagining of original Doom maps?

Hello Everyone!

There are a TON of new mapping efforts that are aimed at improving the original Doom maps, and if not to improve them then to certainly be a loving homage to them.

My time for gameplay is low, so...

Which of these recreation/improvement/homage efforts are the best, and should be played before the other efforts?

Please feel free to list your Top Five selections, and please place them in the order of preference.

If you would like to write out some specific reasons as to why they rank the way they do with you, please feel free to do that. I'm very interested in such reasoning.

markanini, I have done numerous keyword searches for Honte and Stalkerblade, and have had no success in finding it. Till now...!
