Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Anyone has any real suggestions on what to do to make the freezing issue disappear?

I guess it's probably really a multi core problem....

You: "I do not have any problems with my system"
Also you: "Anyone has any real suggestions on what to do to make the freezing issue disappear?"

Why even bother asking? If you think we're wrong or if you're just going to dismiss us like that, you're barking up the wrong tree.

It's either your system, or the mods you're running. GZDoom runs perfectly fine on any decent system as long as you don't overload it with Brutal/Brutality crap. If it doesn't, the problem is on your end. If you can't accept that, you can't be helped, it's just as simple as that.

Nearly all gamesims run single core, anyway, so no, it's not a "multi core" problem. Of course if you want to parrot everything you hear like a caveman.... go ahead and make GZDoom multi core yourself. I'll be waiting...

I can run vanilla Doom on GZDoom at over 800 fps and no freezing. If there was a problem with GZDoom or with my system this simply would not be possible.

To add to that, even on my potato most mods run fine, the FPS might not be that high (read: Rachael's FPS) but it's past playable for sure. (def. not NUTS.WAD though)

Putting the game on a SSD seems to have fixed the short freezes i had with GZDoom (and other games)
