Hello Everyone,
GZdoom 4.10.0
Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 5950x
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080
Logitech G903 (Wired or Wireless, With or Without Software installed)
I tried another wired mouse, same issue.
Mouse is confirmed not to be a problem with other games, and other Doom Clients (tested with Doomsday Engine, and even Doom Legacy)
1440p 165hz monitor.
I use the left mouse button to shoot, and the right mouse button to move forward, and asd for left back and right (mouse look and invert y axis turned on) I have this issue where sometimes, usually once every few minutes, I'll just stop moving forward, or I just stop shooting. I will still be holding down the mouse button, and it usually requires waiting a bit, like a second or two to continue moving forward, or to release and repress.
As I've tried with other mouses (mice?) and it still seems to be a problem. I'm at the point where I might try installing this on my wife's old laptop to see if its just my machine. Anyone have suggestions for me.
I apologize if this has been answered, but I did try searching the forums, and the best I could find was this old thread
viewtopic.php?f=50&t=69909
I appreciate the help!

Re: Mouse buttons stop working intermittently
Hello Everyone,
Happy New Years.
I've isolated the issue to be with Logitech Mice, as I don't have this issue with an old generic Monoprice mouse (which is very unpleasant to use) but I do with my brother's G502. I found online that some places suggested that hubs, or USB3.0 had problems with Logitech mice so I borrowed a USB 2.0 header from another machine and plugged it into my Motherboard, and the mouse into that, sadly, this seems like still an issue. I really don't know where more to check. Does anyone know if there are debugs for inputs that I can spit into a log file to see what might be causing this?
Thank you.
Dharmesh

Re: Mouse buttons stop working intermittently
My immediate suggestion, from the experiences I've had at my workplace, is to try running USB Device Tree Viewer and see if the mouse is being dismounted at all. It should turn its entry red for disconnects, and green for connects. If that's happening during a game, then it speaks to potentially being an issue not of USB bandwidth, but of power draw, that perhaps your USB ports aren't giving enough power.

Hello Everyone,
Turns out it's our mice (my G903, and my brother's G502 ironically), it's a double clicking issue. For anyone who comes across this thread in the future. Go here (or a similar double click website) https://codepen.io/blink172/pen/vERyxK and simply count your clicks and count the clicks it registers, they should obviously match. It seems that some games are better at continuing the input than others, I seem to be able to avoid it with lighter presses, but as someone who uses Mouse2 to move forward, that's tough to do. I'll be ordering some replacement switch assemblies as I'm really accustomed to the G903 and want to try to keep electronics out of the waste.
Thanks!
