https://twitter.com/bethesda/status/1582413888532156416 as seen here, Harmony has been re-released for the Unity port.
This new version of Harmony presents several differences from the previous ZDoom-based version that most people have played. The most immediate difference is that all of the sound effects are brand new (for licensing reasons), Jimmy's excellent MIDI pack was bundled in, and the sprites had to be scaled down in resolution a bit for technical reasons.
But beyond that, more interesting and important is the fact that there's a bunch of new gameplay changes. There is a new enemy, new weapons and two brand new levels. Many of the weapons also behave differently from before, and one was seemingly cut.
I'm posting this here because, considering GZDoom has a level of innate compatibility for Harmony, this may be of interest to GZDoom considering many of the changes on display here.
Harmony re-released for the Unity port.

Re: Harmony re-released for the Unity port.
This one would essentially require a complete redoing of the integration for the original release. If someone wants to do it, fine, but for now just use it as a PWAD for Doom 2.
What we definitely need is an update to the IWAD filter to exclude this one.

There's a proper standalone release in the works, by the way. (Without the id Software sounds.)

Hope they still replace the sounds either way.
Re: Harmony re-released for the Unity port.
There has now been an update for the Harmony re-release, including most of the content for the Unity port plus a couple new things, meant to be compatible with all source ports. Not sure if this changes the equation at all for GZDoom but worth pointing out nonetheless. The sounds have been changed once again, meaning we now have three Harmony versions with entirely different sounds, which has to be a first.

If someone wants to make this work as a standalone, be my guest. I'm not going to do it.
