I haven't used it yet, is it capable of doing ceilings?
What about using 2 heightmaps for creating caves?

This is a pretty cool util. Anyone got any decent example heightmap graphics? I've just been mucking around with stuff and it's cool, but I'd like to see the kind of graphic that can make a good, usable terrain. Most of the graphics I have tried have created a very lumpy terrain that is hard to walk over.

For an easy trial run, just drop a BMP onto the EXE then build the nodes for the wad produced. Keep the graphic small (64x64 is fine) and make sure it is the correct format 8 bit grayscale bmp.
