Haha yes viewtopic.php?f=3&t=57747 it works, no mathematical compromises were required either!
Imps'll now throw balls in an arc. There's a gravity of 0.05 and the speed remains the same. Works with differing elevations. They do a straight shot, not the one in the air and back down again (ceilings!). (A minus for the plus-or-minus in the ballistics equation.) There's a maximum range now, of course, and in general this'll make imps easier. But hey, it works. It works!! Woo! Wooo-hoooo!! :D
Would be easy to tweak to rebalance it, I'm sure.

Interesting. I also did something like this for the Wolfenstein: Blade of Agony chapter 3 release. See A_ArcProjectile and ZScriptTools.ArcZVel.

Right on! I've tweaked a lot of Imp Balls but never got around to making them a grenade like in Doom2016. Good job.

Would this be possible to do in ACS? I'm trying to create a similar attack for a trap, but it also needs to shoot upwards first more, like artillery almost.
