Hey guys, I want to experiment in creating sprites: more specifically, sprites like the Vixen I've included here.
Which program can I use to create these kinds of sprites and/or what kind of programs are you guys using?
It would be great if the program included the ability to see the sprite frames in action when working through them & when complete (if that's not possible, could you guys tell me or point me in the right direction for an external program that does do this?)
*I'm on Windows 10

Re: Which program to create sprites?
@Logan MTM Hey there
thanks for your reply and the info !
Would you any insight into how I can create a sprite in GIMP like the one I've screened? (for example, could one open gimp and just get busy or is there a method/technique to employ to get body form like the Vixen?)
Are there bases/templates or is it all free design via hand?

Re: Which program to create sprites?
The Vixen character sprites were not "drawn" - they are 3D renders (specifically from the game Redneck Rampage) and were created in a modeling program. If you were wanting to create graphics like that, you'd probably want to learn something like Blender. Bear in mind, though, that's not necessarily easy, and you'll want a fair amount of knowledge of anatomy to get a reasonable character model.
