Fun "fact" Billy Idol stole his look from Spike AKA William the Bloody (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). ;) Image

Single action Revolver sprite, still working on this due to making hands in Doom is a curse

decided to Finally add a deagle to my mod, sprite originally by YukesVonFaust, i just did these edits to it:
- gave it hands
- gave it a muzzleflash
- gave it a "raised hammer" frame
- made it fatter
- applied polish (made the highlights way brighter)
- added slide grooves on the world sprite
- removed herobrine

Those are good looking arms, although the uneven hirsutism makes them appear to belong to different people. Without knowing anything about a deagle itself I must assume it is accurate despite the back end reminding me of tetris and looking like it could cut someone.

yeah... sadly there's not much i can really do about that, my arm selection is a tad limited and i dont have the spriting expertise to make my own arms

yep! that's just how the back half of a deagle looks

I suppose cutting your wrist(s) with the rear part of a gun is among the less dangerous accidents you could have.

I made a few quick attempts at matching the arms to each other, which the low resolution makes easier to get away with, although they aren't mapped to the doom palette and I didn't try to imitate the blast lighting! I assumed it was on a separate layer and could be easily applied if you had any use for one of these.

Love Shadowrun Michael Jackson. ;)

I really like your sprite too TommyGalano5. Have you stalled completely with it or do you think you might get it finished?

Metadoom's Gauss Cannon is nice, very fitting to Doom, however it's also oversized (even bigger than the BFG9000) lacks a few important details (such as the guiding ring?) and still looks like it's a prototype -- not to forget that the muzzle flash was whack (big IMO) and the pickup sprite is raw to say the least.

Basically this remedies those issues:
- it slims the weapon down (now the same height, but slightly less wider than the base game BFG9000)
- Addition of the guiding ring(?) and a barrel (scaled down plasma gun emitter)
- Various parts from the BFG9K have been used to fill in shadow space and flatten out the weapon, pipes added on coil devices as an "electrical accelerator" (jk, actually added to make the GC look more familiar but different from the BFG9K as well as more consistent with the rear capacitor things)
- Forward blue lights now function as a "Gauss Activation Light" (IRL Gauss Guns are supposed to be turned on and off during firing, not before or after iirc)
- Primary muzzle flash is now consistent with the vanilla Plasma Gun, added secondary muzzle flash to first two firing states.
- Pickup sprite is more consistent with vanilla weapons; the chainsaw handling has been replaced for more UAC consistent "big fackin gun" layout.
