Sheesh are you still playing the older version of this mod? You don't know what is fixed or not unless you play the new version of the mod. Fyi it's fixed there now play the new version.

I guess i'm alone when it comes to starting over from scratch after the newest version 1.05 was released as i honestly
Spoiler:
Didn't know how to progress during the last part of the game as i went to the nuclear plant and everywhere and checked place after place. And couldn't find a way to progress and cause of that i instantly assumed that my save was broken. And honestly didn't hesitate starting over cause of that reason alone. It wasn't until later on i found out what i gotta do and it was honestly quite the mystery. I facepalmed ofc.

Heh good luck with that i'm going to finish my current playthrough before i move onto the newest version. I'm already far enough in i don't want to ditch a good playthrough.
Just beat my first playthrough. Ashes 2063 was previously just about the greatest experience I've had with a total conversion mod, and Afterglow was one step above that. It's so rare to play something with both extremely high quality AND quantity: I got about 20 hours out of my playthrough and was never bored thanks to amazing level design that ran the gamut from slaughterfest arenas to eerie exploration maps and everything in between. In an age where 'immersive sims' are still bit of a hot-button, none of them capture the diversity of level design and natural exploration rewards of Deus Ex like Afterglow's levels did (and Afterglow has way better combat than Deus Ex). The expanded bestiary over the first episode added a lot, and I particularly had a giant smile encountering the

Riot shield mutants and scav snipers; the former were really well-designed in terms of frame-timed combat while the latter totally change the tone of an area they're in.
Thank you Vostyok for making this, and to everyone else that contributed (great soundtrack too of course and all the unique scripting efforts shine through). Hard to even imagine how episode 3 will improve the formula even more, though I'm sure it will.
I played the latest Enriched from your standalone upload last night and was wondering if track 26 (Battle for the Dam) is supposed to be heard in the Dam map that can be unlocked from The Wall.
It would certainly fit and also remove the soundtrack's repetitiveness but is for some reason not included with the mod.
ok, I launched Athena and fled the bunker before the nukes went off. is this the proper ending or is there another?
Spoiler:
Yes, but what really counts is what appears on the text screens. It's a good ending for you -- and for whom else? So there are several possible outcomes, depending on what you did before, whom you got into a deal with.
Yea for being so hardcore about realism Vostyok clearly forgot to mix in cans of soda etc in with the bottles. Honestly doesn't make sense that every drink object is a glass bottle.
