Do I create a new topic for release version?

I've already made a thread for a gameplay mod I made (viewtopic.php?f=43&t=72593) which is soon approaching release.

Do I make a new topic for the release of the mod (the mod now includes maps, but I don't think I'd call it a total conversion) different to the topic for the pre-release version, or do I update that original topic?

(Actually, since the mod now includes maps, I think that disqualifies it from just being a gameplay mod -- is there a way to switch categories or do I make a new topic in the TCs, Full Games and Other category?)
