I just wanted to thank you for this incredible release. While Ashes 2063 was a great DOOM mod, this is a great game outright. If I had bought this for $25 or $30 on steam I would be extremely pleased with it. You did some amazing work here.

P.S. Re-added solution to make it fit in areas where it's used as a wall hatch.
That's actually really cool. Thanks for this! Will update credits for you in next patch.
Thank you for all the feedback, everyone. Am aiming to get a new patch/update out for ep1 in meantime that fixes a lot of issues that remain and also hopefully adds a few things I always wanted to add. Many thanks
There are still a few textures in Ep1 which are from Build engine games/etc. It is pretty obvious which ones. It would be nice to have original ones that copy the shape/colors roughly, but honestly we will get around to it eventually. Only need help with this if you really want to.
Just finished. I'll be starting my second playthrough after a few more bugs have been squashed. It was well worth the wait! The atmosphere, the music, it all comes together to form such a memorable adventure.
Finsished walktrhough. Welll... I'll be damned if it's not the masterpiece which outstands most(if not all) doom TCs.
It was a great and very intense playing, I can't even properly describe it with words.
If Ashes: Afterglow won't be a Cacoward 2k21 winner, then there's no sense in cacowards at all.
Finished my first playthrough and hot damn was it amazing I'm sure this has been said multiple times already but I cant believe this shits free I cant wait to see where the story goes next Bravo to everyone who worked on it.
Anyone have any idea where to find the bike battery? I'm lost as fuck, I can't find where to go in the subway, westside or the flooded district, I've got the primers and the jerry can for my bike, but I have no idea what I am missing
This is just a really, really solid sequel. I'm probably halfway through, I think? Just got to the part where you get to ride the mutant. The writing and worldbuilding continue to be absolutely topnotch, even though I'm a tad disappointed it's continuing the story of the first game instead of doing an entirely new story. In spite of that, that story hasn't cropped up much at all so far and what little has has been really interesting. I'm certainly interested! The combat is super tight, my worries from the demo that it would be cheap have been completely avoided. The new mechanics, and the level design, and the music, it's all super solid. On par with the original.
I question the Enriched release, though. It just doesn't feel like it does enough to warrant its existence. But, do too much and you risk losing something. I think the gameplay alterations carried in from Afterglow don't honestly fit 2063 that much, but it might be a neat alternate playthrough, especially on Apocalypse. I would've at least liked some of the grammar and formatting errors to have been fixed, but...yeah, I dunno what this release is for, other than seemingly remastering DMW a good chunk and providing a less in-depth installation with one single part instead of many parts. Think I'll stick with the many parts, though...
(Speaking of 2063 though, I've been writing a script for potential FMV cutscenes, since I've been thinking about it a lot. I have no expertise in creating 3D cutscenes, I'm only a writer. I might post it when a decent enough draft is done.)
Also, uh...I'm stuck.
Spoiler:
I got stuck on the part where you first get the pitfiend because the jump is really, really touchy. I thought I was doing something wrong for a good while until it just worked. But then the next level, I get to this area, and I have absolutely no idea what to do or where to go. I've combed the walls for switches and ladders and found nothing. I am completely stumped on what to do here. For what it's worth, I'm playing v1.00/0.99, since I downloaded this the day it came out and y'know, GZDoom mods don't like updates and saves crossing paths.

Make sure you have a look in the kitchen and the adjoining back garage in the restaurant in Flooded District. I feel you have missed something vital to progression.

How do you get the mount to jump though?
Altfire. She can only leap forwards though, not over obstacles.
