On Doom World, I have posted new art of the Updated Thysis levels.

Mazera levels have been somewhat overhauled too. Things are being redone to not look so Hexen 1ish and give the mod a purely distinct feel with Resources from Realm667

FreeDoom Compatibility is being worked on too. The issue is, there are still two Blocker Puzzles: The Bell, and the planets. These puzzles need to be replaced before FreeDoom Support can become a serious possibility. I am fielding suggestions here and on Doom World.

Yes. This means that the Mod now work with either doom2.wad, or freedoom2.wad (FreeDoom Phase 2)

The Bell has been replaced, as has the Daemon Codex. In addition to a large amount of Retexturing.
Still needed are: The Clock, The planet Gems, and the Gears.

After some discussion with Kalinka, its been decided that further development on Hexen: LOTSR is going to be stalled.
The reasons for this, is there are too many technical faults in the project combined with the fact that we cannot get qualified technical people to work on this. We slowly lost all support and now there are just too many bugs and technical hurdles for us to fix everything we need. We really wanted to put fourth the best effort we could, but it is time we faced reality. We are unable to finish this project with the resources we have.

Kalinka added some new custom Torch types to LOTSR. This was done for a few reasons. We felt bad this project stalled.

- This replaces more Hexen 1 Assets with Realm667 Assets that have extended features like lighting sources. In addition to better Fire Animations. There has been an ongoing effort to replace all Hexen 1 Assets in the mod's maps with custom ones either produced in house, or generated with Realm667's terms.

- This fixes more Missing Asset problems when running in Doom 2 Mode. What you are seeing is Doom 2 Mode.

So, Just a little more has been done on Land of the Serpent Riders:

The mod has partial Doom 2 Compatibility.
This means that there exists a mode where LOTSR Runs with Doom2.wad, and not Hexen.wad in the event someone only has Doom 2, and not Hexen, or is using FreeDoom
This doesn't mean you can play as Flynn Taggart from Doom.
All Swamp Stalkers have been replaced by 'Deep Ones'
Deep ones are an actual Swimming enemy that is programmed to function like a flying enemy in water, but is a grounded enemy on land.
Certain maps have had it scripted to spawn them in deep water upon certain events.
Chaos book Puzzle Automatically opens the poly object in map10 when all segments are complete
there is no need to run back up there and spin that thing around
the ice imp trap works correctly. in map 08
Corvus Crimson Rangers and Civilians have replaced the duplicate class hero dolls in several maps
Corvus's Crimson Rangers were intended to be interactive, act as merchants, and in some cases, join your team.
All Hexen 1 Keys have been reworked to use Original keys.
We really needed to change the Inner Castle Key from a Quest Item to an actual key, there is a bug that can open the Castle Key door before it logically should be opened.
Argus Gem, and Grizin Crystals have custom assets now, along with their pedastals and are no longer Heart of D'Spairil Recolors/.
Planet Gems in the Septimus Citadel are now huge.
The exit from Septimus actually takes you back where it should, back where you originated from, so you can place the Chaos book on the stand.
Death appears as a hub level boss in the lost lands, unfortunately we didn't rescript the doors from stopping you leavying early
A Boat level has been started on Map16.

This project is still ongoing.
Wrath of Cronos 3.1.4 Support! You can now play on Android! You can also play as the Assassin!
Magic Maidens can now summon Harpies as a Special attack, and new effects have been added for spell casting.

This project isn't dead yet. In fact its had massive Code cleanups and functional overhauls.
Rescuable Crimson Rangers and Shrine Maidens. Also, the Melina Saori Miniboss has been programmed.

Rescued Shrine maidens and can be given orders.
Rescued Shrine Maidens as well as Crimson Rangers will transit between levels with you.

Map16 is now a sailing level contrasted with the Airship of Map15. Corvus now has a battleship called the Elysium, contrasted with Burai's Airship, the Voidspire.
When you complete the Airship battle, and reach the controls, you can now Fly the Voidspire to any previous hub, as well as Blackmarsh.
The Elysium will only take you to Blackmarsh.

A Rather severe bug has been discovered with resurrected monsters due to the Necromancer's Raise dead ability.

Excluding Necromancer minions, Any monsters raised by the Necromancer will become hostile and murder any rescued Shrine maidens or Crimson Rangers
