At least for me, blue light filtering reduced the eyestrain to basically zero. I can watch the monitor for hours without fatigue or tearing eyes. My actual monitor is also flicker-free, and i'm really comfortable with it. :)

Let me counter that. I run Windows night mode at a slider value of 46 resulting in ~4000k. I have verified with my X-rite colorimeter that the resulting white follows the daylight locus to a DeltaE of 1 which is very good and shouldn't be noticeably off in the green-magenta axis.

Well, i wrote that in 2021 and i didn't even remember writing it xD. For night preset i use 4100K BTW.
