Bionicle Heroes: Doom
So a while ago, I came across this surprisingly kickass mod by TheShyGuy489 that replaces the Doom arsenal with weapons from Bionicle Heroes. Lately, the author has also started introducing Bionicle-themed enemies. The author has given me his permission to promote his work on ZDoom, as it would be a shame if all the time and effort he put in the mod were to go unnoticed.
Check it out!

Lego Doom TC, and now Bionicle doom mod! I really love the detail of the weapon and enemy sprites. I really love the smooth and balanced weaponry. I also dig the sound effects as well. Nature-themed map packs like The Island might be very fitting. Weldone!

Re: Bionicle Heroes: Doom
I did not know about The Island, but it is true that the mod seems to have been made with a jungle setting in mind, especially if you play it with the Music Pack.
So far, I have been testing it on The Plutonia Experiment, but I am waiting for the whole bestiary to be completed in order to start playing the mod seriously.
I read The Island features custom monsters, however, so I do not know if it is compatible with Bionicle Heroes: Doom.

Re: Bionicle Heroes: Doom
Only part 2 has custom enemies and i got goofed. Sorry about that. But i think this mod shines on jungle-beach-forest-friendly map packs such as The Island and Plutonia. And since i'm enjoying it, here's some of my feedback and suggestions!:JohnnyTheWolf wrote:I read The Island features custom monsters, however, so I do not know if it is compatible with Bionicle Heroes: Doom.
Spoiler:Also looking forward to adding new enemy replacements! This is by far the most promising mod i have ever played.

Not sure if the author is checking this thread, so it might be best to also post your feedback on the ModDB page just to be sure.

The author is doing a survey in regard to what he intends to be the final update: "Play as all 6 Toa or just The Maskless Toa in the final update?"

This mod is fantastic, I really like the weapon designs and the animation is super smooth. Are there any plans for a BFG-style super weapon?
