Problems with DS4 controller

Post by spoone »

This seems to happen with and without DS4Windows running. I plug my controller in and the menu just starts doing stuff on its own. Also when i go into a game the player looks straight up and starts spinning. How do I fix this? I fixed it before, but now I have no idea how to fix it anymore.

if you open up win + R and run joy.cpl does it look like it is receiving input when you aren't touching it?

in my experience some controllers read L2/R2 or LT/RT as a control stick and will view their idle state as fully left on the nonexistent stick

No it moves when I move the sticks. Not by itself.

Try going into the controller settings and turning down the axes one at a time until the spinning stops. I forget which one it is. I think the ds4's gyro controls or whatever they are mess with GZDoom.
