You know - I'm gonna do it!Captain J wrote:Now just imagine if Pink Floyd were interested in making of their own first person shooter after Doom came out.
I bet it would've been like the game that is so obscure Civvie 11 might review the shit out of it, but sounds totally worth it.

It is, i used parts of a railgun from the earliest posts on the fanmade-sprites channel on the Project Brutality Discord server, and also parts of some sorta BFG-ish weapon...? i think i can get the image of it.TheRailgunner wrote:That's a frankensprite? I don't believe you - I can hardly tell what pieces you used, if at all. It looks, quite simply, fucking amazing.fluenCdoom wrote:Recently i made my "1st" frankensprite... can't seem to know what i should name it though.

(I was quite certain when I initially posted this that it directly followed that comment)

And it was actually an OK game as I recall. Not brilliant, perhaps, but playable.neoworm wrote:Well, Kiss had their first person shooter game. Nothing is impossible.

That's more like Cyberdemon's Rocket arm, but that will do!

9mm ammo box from RE2 and 3 in Doom item pickup perspective, made outta the original inventory icon (the small ones, not the detailed "check" sprite)
Cause RE2's ammo box is so iconic to me, and felt the need to add it to Doom. Might do it with some others, but no promises.

Looks promising. And i really like that special muzzle flash effect!Lamp Pipe wrote:An Eraser Gun. Based off and a drawing I made some years ago. I didn't imagine it, these posts changing order! the "eraser gun" didn't appear until after the "lol" and yet now it seems to be before. I hate to quote what came immediately before me but it may be necessary when replies change their mind about what time they were brought into existence.
