smooth how do i make it so where i only have the monster?

So i use smooth doom all the time for every mapset I play. I'm wondering now that if I can somehow get rid of the weapons portion of the mod so that I can use various weapon mods. I'm aware beautiful doom is capable of running weapon mods but my pc has trouble running that. Also I'm not to smart when it comes to modding, so please keep that in mind if you decide to answer.
