What were you using when you saved? If it was Slade, it makes backups when you save. If you were using it, the backups will be in the same folder as the PK3.

That's strange. It always does for me - as soon as any changes are saved to the main file, it saves the previous version as filename.pk3.bak

If you're very lucky there will be something in \AppData\Roaming\SLADE3\temp

omfg By some shear of luck, there was a bak file in the trash bin. With all of the orginial content. I can tell because last time I made any edits to it I replaced the sounds of an enemy with new sounds. and the new sounds are in it. Okay I'm putting this son of a bitch on a usb drive asap. lol Thanks for the help Enjay. Feel instant relief.

I recommend that you switch to folder editing and sync your project folder with github, and reduce your SLADE use to minimum. This won't happen ever :) See here: https://zdoom.org/wiki/Using_ZIPs_as_WA ... f_archives
